About Rongstad Insurance Services

Our agency history dates back to 1972, when Jon Rongstad purchased the independent insurance agency in Westbrook, MN. In 1987, he purchased the agency from the First National Bank in Waseca, and renamed it the Waseca Agency. A few years after that, the agency in Westbrook was sold to another local agent. Jon has since retired, and his son Paul is now the owner/agent of the Waseca Agency.

The agency was expanded in 1993 when Jon's son Eric opened an office in Golden Valley to serve clients in the Minneapolis area. Eric is now the owner/agent of the Golden Valley office, R.I.G. Metro.

By working together and combining the volume from our two office locations, we offer our companies a wider geographic customer base. In turn, this provides our customers with greater stability from their insurance provider.
