Eric Rongstad is the agent at our Minnetonka office, R.I.G. Metro. This office has been part of the Nesbit Agencies since it merged with them in March of 2025.
Eric began his insurance career in 1991 when he worked as an agent for the Farmers Insurance Group in their Edina, MN office. After two years with Farmers, he left to open the Golden Valley office of the Rongstad Insurance Group.
As the agent at the Minnetonka location, he works mostly with individuals and families to cover their personal insurance needs with products like auto and homeowners insurance from our list of many fine companies.
Eric graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. After beginning his career in insurance, he has earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation.
